I just gave my fretted electric bass mwah.

No, seriously. Was playing around with my mute foam and I came across this position for it that gave my E and A strings this deep, resonating upright-style mwah.

Can't get it to happen on my D and G though. It's really cool.

I love my bass.

What the hell is going on?

That's why I love my fretted Spector...has mwhaaah like my fretless Zon! Mine comes from the bright roundwound strings, woods in the bass, and that big fat MM humbucker at the bridge.

Rest assured, with 807,000 threads, 12 million posts, and 207,000 members, this is nowhere near the dumbest thing on TB. Not even remotely close. Now if someone can actually tell you what to do to get your D &G strings to MWAH you'll really be in business.
