When walking down the street, it would be; The theme from "Saturday Night Fever" by the Bee Gees...
When someone realizes I am strutting like John Travolta and shouts insulting comments my way, it would be "Get Offa My Cloud" by The Rolling Stones...
When the person who insulted me, then was told to "get offa my cloud" decides to come for me, it would be; "Why Can't We Be Friends" by Sly and the Family Stone..
If he agrees to the proposal, it would be "Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin)" by the same group...
However, if he does not agree, it would be "Somebody Get Me a Doctor" AND "Jaime's Cryin'" by Van Halen - only "Jaime's" would be changed to "Tony's" to keep things perfectly clear.
If I were to make an attempt at a get-away, it would be "I Ran" by A Flock of Seagulls...
Followed by "In Cars" by Gary Neuman...
When driving really fast, it would be; "Highway Star" by Deep Purple...
When burning to death because I am crappy driver and would inevitably crash, it would be "I'm Burning for You" segueing into "Don't Fear the Reaper" by Blue Oyster Cult...
Upon my death, it would be (of course) "Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zeppelin - only the "she's" would be changed to "he's" - Hey, I am secure in who I am, but why open up that can of worms?
But before my lights go completely out and I am reliving my life for what it was and what it could have been, it would be, "What is and What should Never Be"
- because it's possible that I may consider, in those seconds before my life is snuffed, what exploring life as a transvestite would have been like. In which case; "Take a walk on the wild side" by Lou Reed seems quite appropro...
Or it is very possible I would have delusions of grandeur and I would be dreaming of saving the planet from an incoming meteor to the tune of "Superman" by R.E.M.
However, I always tend to leave projects half-finished, so when that incomming meteor impacts the earth, the tune would change to "It's the End of the World as we Know it" by the same group.
But for everyday life, I think "Skinny, Sweaty Man in a Green Suit" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers will do for now.
