Are you talking about the funky color/round pickguard Flea Bass, or the Fender Jazz Flea Bass?

The funky color ones go for €200 to €300 in the local want ads, only because they're not common here. Cheaper in USA, apparently.

AFAIK, the funky ones are so-so sounding/playing basses geared towards entry level players.

They're also very polarising in reviews: people either love 'em or hate' em, with no middle ground.

I would pay $200 for the pink and green one just for the fun of it. They were not great basses, they weren't even good basses. When I worked at the music store we got one of each colour and they didn't sell till boxing day blow out.

I had my hands on a used pink/green one aka Teletubbies Flea bass at a Pawn shop a couple of years ago and was considering getting it more for the novelty of it but for the price it was selling for ($150) and after noodling around on it for a bit, it wasn't worth it even for that price.
