Dang, I lost my penguin. Well it was more of a vampire bat stuffed dog toy.
Had him tied off to the pull-out handles on the Hartke, didn't make it back after the gig. So sad

Sorry to have derailed your thread but I am sure there are Monty Python fans in Effects too and we just can't help ourselves. I keep a collection of junk on top of my practice amp. I have an MS60 on a stool so I can reach it easily while practicing. I only play at a church, I don't even know where the amp is. So I set up the MS60 in advance and it lives on the floor while I play. But it is happy there and I bought it to suit my circumstances. If you need to adjust your effects frequently (I don't) then putting them on your amp or a stand where they are handy makes perfect sense.
