the recordings ive heard of this amp remind me of the early blonde bassmans. which means they sound great! ive had a clone of the bass channel of the blonde bassman made for me. its awesome and in a head case slightly smaller than the size of that ashdown lil bastard

It's a mean looking Amp alright.

To me, that's when Fender looked "cool" and very mean.

After that, they became, well, "fendery" again...

I had one of these, wish I'd kept it. Ridiculously loud for 50 watts.

What model is that? I used to play through a Super Beatle that looked a lot like that, it sounded pretty good, i think technically it was a guitar head but who cared back then as long as it did the job?
