What's the Deal with Harmony Central?

Hmm, I havent visited Harmony Central since I stumbled upon Talkbass (because of Harmony Central).
I once wrote a review for a Digitech Bass Processor, and a rep from Digitech sent me a free tshirt.
I dont think a forum is irrelevant just because its owned by a .com, though. I think a forum is as relevant as the users participating make it.

Well.... I get the whole neighbors make the community a better place speech. We all get it. But we're not talking about building a community park.

The point is that the venue for discourse is limiting and effectively chilling people's ability to express opinion. The forum will never be as good as it could be because of these imposed limitations. Whether they (HC.com or MF.com) intended to eliminate the reviewers section or whether it was a mishap with some corrupt software makes little difference. They obviously didn't back up their data, and they haven't activated a reviewers section.

I am so gone from that forum. Too bad....I bought my nephew's first trumpet (a Yamaha)using that site. I read reviews, researched the companies, and bought the horn from Musician's Friend.

Well said.

They have some user reviews back, but while you can post a review of a product already listed, I found it impossible to add a new product review. There is an "Add a Product" text which has an ugly looking blue square around it, which when clicked on does nothing. Maybe you need IE to make that work. Anywho, sucks ass the way it is now. I don't have problems starting new topics in TB or any other forums I belong to, *** is wrong with HC?
