What's the Difference

O.K. it's me again, I've got another question. Is there a difference between noise cancelling pickups and hum cancelling pickups. I view them as one in the same as far as what they are created to do, but if I'm, wrong can someone steer me in the right direction, thanks.

Not that I know of. It's really all about how a manufacturer chooses to word their literature/ads.

I believe that I have seen some single coil pickups marketed as "noise cancelling," but either term generally just refers to pickups that have two coils that are RWRP from each other, to cancel out any 60Hz hum.
