What's your desert island effect?

Chunk Systems Octavius Squeezer. Hands down.
I've got a dry blended overdrive sound dialed up on it now that has, this past weekend, become an integral part of My Sound. Keeping in line with the whole Desert Island concept, I feel I really could gig with just that one pedal (I mean come on, it's got an onboard tuner to boot.)

After 6 pages, I believe we need a challenge: I dare anyone who's responded to this thread to play their next gig only with a bass, amp, and their desert island pedal. Then report back here. :)

You have a great idea! I'm up for the challenge... Anyone else?

With a 4545? No problem.

You picked a multi-effect though!

It would be too easy for me to play my church gigs with my desert island effect, as that is what I did for two years before adding in a flanger an e.filter. My EQ pedal has always been there. But, is EQ even considering an 'effect'?
