What's your least favorite color for a bass guitar?

I think color choices (in anything) reflect your personality. How much you want to stand out in any particular circumstance. I don't. My color palette was pretty much defined and locked in the 50s early 60s.
I don't hate anything, though; I just think you're goofy.

I want to throw a tort pickguard on an Antigua bass just to mess with people.
My Antigua P had an awful after-market tort when I got it in '85.
Changed it to aged white mother of toilet seat for a while before returning it to stock.

There's a Robbie Robertson lyric that best describes Antigua:

"There's one thing you gotta learn
Is not to be afraid of it"
I said, "No, I like it, I like it, it's good"
She said, "You like it now
But you'll learn to love it later"

I know this is gonna rain hate on me..but, I never been a big black bass guy.
But I also owned a Gibson Grabber in a wine/burgundy color that was so bad that the store gave me a deep discount.
But I also bought a pair of Chucks once at a Converse outlet store.
They were a fugly color of baby poop yellow. The store had a big pile of them, new in boxes, in the middle of the showroom with a sign that said $10.00.
A pair of Chucks for 10 bucks? .... I didnt care how ugly they were.
That Grabber was a good bass, and I NEEDED a good bass,
So... color be damned.
Oh yeah .... Antigua is pretty awful.
