I had some delicious rice pudding a few days ago. Pudding > jello

And on that note, I think that from now on everyone should refer to "pudding" as "puddin'". I mean, just say them both out loud. Puddin' just sounds smooth, suave and way, way cooler than pudding. Pudding can be whatever the British consider to be pudding. But for the gloopy-good pile of goo in your bowl, it just has to be puddin'.
