Whats your rig?

I play a MIA Fender Jazz into a Mesa Boogie Buster 200 head which runs at 4ohms into a 1970s Ampeg B25B 2x15 with Eminence Delta 15A speakers.

I came across this rig surprisingly cheap and easy. I traded an old Tama Rockstar drum set (just the shells) for the MIA Jazz bass. I bought the Ampeg cabinet for $100, cleaned it and replaced the speakers for about $300. The Mesa I believe I paid about $900 for, and it came with a nice SKB luggage style case. I came across this stuff rather easily, the only problem I had was driving 2 hours to Toronto in order to pick up the cabinet. Would you believe I fit a 2x15 cabinet in the back seat of a Honda Civic? Well I did.

I guess my point is that I wasn't really able to test out any equipment before I decided what I wanted. I joined a band and needed bass gear as fast as possible and this is the stuff I was able to get my hands on.

Pictures shortly.

My rig has changed since my post on the previous page...

Reiner tube preamp <-- new (and totally awesome!)
Stewart World 2.1
Bergantino NV610 <-- greatest bass cab ever made

'lectric : Dano Longhorn>> Tryanor 70's Bassmaster, was a combo, now rehoused as a head>> Genz Benz 1x15. So the sum total is tube warmth and goodness with a modern bigger bottom end.

upright: Eastern block student half size with weed wackers and Hurley Virtuoso >> TC Electronic BG500. I'm thrilled with the way the TC works on upright, it's also a good time on electric.

I haven't posted in a long time... so I figured this would be an appropriate thread to post in. Sweet. So here's my current rig:

'77 Gibson RD Artists > tuner > d.i.y. true bypass looper (bass whammy > supercollider > flanger > delay) > carvin r1000 > fender bassman 2x15 with eminence Delta 15's.

balls.

...except for the carvin... it sounds good, but there's not enough headroom. GAS-ing for an Ampeg SVT-2pro.

The dbx compresser is for show. :smug:
