When a new Yamaha-Ampeg new head?

I love Ampeg tone, but I had too many problems with their SVT heads to like their reliability.
First an SVT-3 with a high pitch buzz, then an SVT-7 that cuts off at live gigs...too much.

If I am not mistaken it's been 10 years that they released their latest SVT head. Isn't it time for Yamaha now to present something new to compete with other brands (Mesa subway, darkglass, GK)? At last Namm before Covid 19 they released T-shirts...
I would be happy with a series D of the SVT-7 or a re-release of the SVT-6 or SVT-8!

Do you agree or disagree with me? Just collecting opinions...

Cheers!

~ 7 years ago, I owned a 7Pro that cut off. I have the one with the latest revision and it works fine and sounds great. It very easily competes with hybrid heads released in the last few years.

I would expect anything from Ampeg in the PRO (ie. updates to 3, 4 or 7Pro) line any time soon. That expectation will only lead to frustration. If I had to bet, the PF (300, 500 and 800) and SVT/V4B are their bread and butter in terms of sales.
