When did you get to the point...

When i had enough money to get a second bass :hiding:.. Some fenders are just beautiful looking and/or sounding, and i wanted to stretch my "tonal horizons" by getting a jazz. So im gonna :p

I think it's generally down to the feeling of "i could have better, so why not?" for me, but at 16 im in no position to have a collection :crying:

I was using a Carvin B4,but I wanted something REALLY mellow,so I ordered an XB75PF for the DEEP MELLOW stuff we were doing. Then I got CRAZY and ordered several, trying to get an upright sound. I sold the ones I bought and returned the ones I was trying....YOU JUST DON'T get the sound I wanted. When I had some extra money I ordered a Birdsong...(something I've been looking at for a few years now)It is a GREAT instrument....(As are the other 2)Now that I have 3 GREAT basses, our band isn't playing anymore.(Such is life.):crying:Oh well...Maybe something will come through.
