Hello! Back in the day I used to get taper core B strings from Bass Strings Online, but they are now defunct it seems. Just Strings doesn't have what I'm looking for. Anybody have a source for taper core B's? Or are they out of fashion now and nobody makes them?

Jason can order just about anything you want even if it's not officially listed on his website, which has been overhauled recently. That's why I suggested you shoot him an email directly and tell him what you need.
What specific "taper core B" are you after in terms of type and gauge? Taperwound or exposed-core? I use tapered/exposed-core B's on one of my basses all the time, and I always have to order them as singles.
I usually go thru either Jason at Fret Nation or Matt at Strings By Mail ([email protected]) for any singles.
Fretnation still offers them, and you can also buy them directly from D’Addario.
