Where can I find/alternatives to Aguilar 6 string j pickups

Just bought an Ibanez mode 1606 and I love the bass, but I'm not a huge fan of the pickups and preamp. I am a big fan of the sound of Aguilar amps as well as players I've seen playing Aguilar pickups. From what I have read, the Aguilar 6 string hum cancelling jazz pickups look like exactly what I want. It looks like they may have been discontinued and I can't seem to find them anywhere.

Does anyone know if there is somewhere that I can still find them or are there any good alternatives that you guys would recommend? I want more low end and less growl with good clarity but still a good focus on the fundamental if that makes sense. I will be using this bass playing jazz for the most part.

Thanks In advance!

I hate to be that guy but how much time have you spent with eq? An inexpensive eq pedal can do wonders. I didn't play my passive '96 Warwick corvette with jazz pickups for years because I thought it sounded too "hi-fi" for the rock bands I was in. I recently spent some time with it and got it to sound great with my band: favored the neck pickup, rolled the tone knob off slightly, boosted the low mids and cut the treble slightly on my preamp. My guitarist hadn't noticed that I'd brought a different bass to practice and after a couple songs commented on how well my tone meshed. I had been considering swapping out the pickups but I'm glad I didn't.

Yeah, I have messed around with eq a little bit and it does help but I feel like the Ibanez pickups just don't really have the sound I'm looking for. I have another j bass that's a 5er with more traditional pickups that I love the sound of. I do want something slightly more modern hifi sounding on the 6 string but I just don't love the sound coming out of the Ibanez pickups. I'm gonna give it a couple weeks but I have a feeling that I am gonna end up swapping them out.
