I don't know if he makes Thunderbird or Firebird bodies, but try Renegade Guitarworks on Facebook (mattswoodworking-2008 on eBay), he makes a lot of walnut bodies.

Warmoth got their hands slapped a few years ago for making bodies that looked too much like somebody else's. They weren't licensed to copy them, like they are for Fender. Can't remember for sure, but I think it was Thunderbird shaped. I do remember being very interested in it - I wanted a T-Bird very badly. Remember being disappointed when it disappeared, too; and kicking myself for waiting too long - as usual...
