Adaptors can be a very tricky item. I would start with a music store at the pedal counter and see what they have available. They might have an item listing on their computer with a list of adaptors that can be purchased through the company. One spot is a good idea, but I know that Korg, M Audio and some others make a specific type of input on the pedal that only their product adaptor will work. Try and fit any other adaptor into a Korg and you will be disappointed because it just will not fit the hole.
If anything, the music store can probably order the item for you, and when they deliver it, you can pick it up.
I do not think you should have a problem though and need to order something from the company. There is a One Spot that has extra stuff in it for pedals, so that suggests that pedals probably have universal inputs... But hey anything is possible!
Oh and if the adaptor does fit with your pedal, then make sure you have the right voltage and that the A, or MA (amps, miliamps) If you use an adaptor whose a/ma is not strong enough, then you will blow out the adaptor. So either get the right amount or more!
1 ma = 0.001 a
100 ma = 0.1 a
1000 ma = 1 a
Just a reference for you![]()
OH! I must of overlooked the battery snap part and only took the DC plugin into consideration from his description.
Now I am a little confused though.
A battery snap is that small thing that attaches the 9 volt to some wires and powers it via battery juice. If he is looking for a piece that plugs into a wall, then how does that function with a battery snap? The adaptor plugs into the area of battery snap where a 9 volt battery would normally plug in, and then goes to the wall...?
I want an adapter from the battery snap like the end thats on a 9volt battery to a jack to plug into a normal style wall plug like this... Amazon.com: Visual Sound Battery Clip Converter for 1 SPOT Black: Musical Instruments You guys pointed me in the right direction I think...
