Don’t think I’ve even ever seen you before lol. It happens. I think the format change was part of it. For some maybe their gigs have dried up or health issues and can’t play anymore… TalkBass may be a hurtful reminder of the glory days… I kinda fit into the no gigs/2 toddlers/stupid work having to adult camp.

I’m not as active as I used to be on this site myself - a product of ages and declining interest - but, geez Louise, there are an awful lot of regulars that I used to see, marked as inactive. What up widdat?

BTW, if anyone replies, I may not answer in a timely manner because, well, you know.

I think it was inevitable after all the covid stuff we had the huge boom of activity it was only a matter of time before things leveled out.
The pendulum swung back the other way towards my work life in a big way past few years.

Things seem a lot quieter since the remodel. But that could just be because I find it harder to navigate and poke around. Also the Reddit bass communities are quite active and younger folks probably gravitate there.

I took an almost 5 year hiatus. Life and addiction got in the way of playing . Got myself back in order and came back on here a year ago. I was shocked to see so many of the old regulars gone.
