Where is the Epifani Piccolo 600?

I've had one on order since NAMM '08, it's hard to believe how late this amp is. I also heard the "two more months" as of Sept, so hopefully we're talking November.
Does anyone have any insight into the delays? Was there a big design change? Reliability issues? If this amp is so hard to build, is it going to be robust?

It's supposed to be in stock now at Bass Central, unless something has changed...

I would guess that is fantasy. Bass Central showed the 902 'in stock' for literally years before it actually was released.

It would not surprise me if this head never sees the light of day, but who knows. Epifani is notorious for pre-announcing products YEARS before introduction, and I assume 'fooling' retailers into getting the products up on their site even though they don't exist. Not cool IMO.

Figures. I talked to them in December(?) before I scored my UL-502, and they swore to me they'd have it within the first couple weeks of January. Glad I acquired the UL-502 when I did, and at the price (used) I did... :smug:
