I build my passive split snakes from a 30' OSP 8ch stage snake with box, and a SA audio 10' 8ch studio snake. The SA was made of thicker wire. The OSP wire is smaller, and it's hard to keep them soldered to the pins. The SA stuff seems decent for the money. Both have chinese neutrik type ends, and those have generally held up well for so little money invested.
