Double Bass Where to find Wolf Tone Eliminator?

maybe i'm missing something, but I can't seem to find an online resource in the US where I can buy a wolf tone eliminator.

so.

i ask you, where can i order a wolf tone eliminator?

Invalid Link Removed It works fairly well (sometimes I move it a bit to get it just right), and is easy to install. Lemur is a good company to deal with (in case you haven't dealt with them already )

that one was recommended to me, but it'd be like $60 with shipping and everything.

Jesus -- the Lemur product isn't the same exact one as in your post, but it's very similar, it works on the same principal. The screw is a bit smaller on the Lemur version.

My experience with the Lemur one is mixed. It does help reduce the wolftone, but doesn't eliminate it entirely. Like a previous post said, you sometimes have to move it up or down the string a bit. And over time, as the screw starts to loosen, it begins to rattle so you have to retighten it.

Robertson's sells wolf tone eliminators for bass in different gram weights, and they slip on and off without screws and nuts. It's a neat design.
