Hey guys! I'm a student bassist studying at NEC. I feel as though recently, my instrument has been holding me back technically and musically. I am not well versed in what to look for in a bass, or where to start looking for basses. What are some good bass shops that are somewhat near Boston? I currently play on a Solano bass with sloped shoulders and 41 inch Flexicore Originals. I am thinking of looking for an orchestrally and soloistically able bass that isn't too big. I'm not really sure what I'm asking for, just suggestions!
