I personally don't think that the Cocobolo looks better, but there are so many Cocobolo topped Alembics out there that it would be kool if you were one of the few with a Koa topped Alembic. In reality the only right answer is which one is more fun for you to play? Does one sound better? Does one feel better?

Which ever one you end up keeping for the love of god put some nice knobs on it. Why does alembic do that to such classy instruments. It'd be like rolling up in a rolls royce with crappy psuedo "spinner" plastic hub cabs.

Well, I can say I'd pay that for the coco one, but not for the koa. Not that I can buy either one, just an opoinion, ya dig?
