Which Bass Amp????

Hey guys I've really been needing a bass amp upgrade. Currently I have a Peavey TNT 150 that's falling apart. I NEED to replace it. My budget is somewheres around $600-700-ish. I'd like a very loud bass amp that can play large auditoriums.
I play mostly Jazz and Rock.

As far as "used" goes i've been looking at these:

Acoustic B200H + B115 + B410 ($650)
(Classifieds for Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming | ksl.com)

Trace Elliot Tube AH-300 & Hartke VX 410 ($450)

GK Backline 210 Combo w/ 115 Extension Cab ($450)

As far as "new" goes I have no idea. I do like Orange amps but those are beyond my budget....

What shall I get?

If you can talk down the guy with the acoustic, that's the way I'd go, honestly. The GK is a pass, especially at that price. The Trace / Hartke could be cool as well.

Always buy used, especially in that price range. no reason to spend more money needlessly.

at least as cabs go...Avatar. I love my Avatar 4x10..can't remember the model number...but it is by far the best sounding cab i have ever used. I run a Yamaha P3500S power amp thru a Sans-Amp Pre- Amp and a Sonic BBE 662 Maximizer now...awesome, clean, powerfull sound

Tough to get a LARGE gig rig for that price. You need about a grand for that.

Accoustic - price to high for used (IMO).
Trace Elliot - If its in good overall condition, thats a fair price.
GK Backline - No thanks, never liked the backline gear.

Find some local music stores - check out what they have and shop around for what sounds good and is in your price range.

among your best bang for the buck used in that price range are Peavey, GK, Hartke, and Carvin. The Ampeg PF 350 and 500 amps are nice, too, and you can get them used as well.

If you're playing large places, do they not have a PA?

Looking around, you can probably swing a peavey 410, and one of those ampeg pf series heads for that cost, new...

maybe a used markbass head and a 4ohm 410?

there are tons of options in that price range

Carvin sells the BX500 head with the BRX10.4 cab for about 1000 delivered.

I've bought both amp and cab on the TB classifieds over the past two weeks and feel like a paid a very fair price and had everything shipped well to me.... I think it is a great way to buy. If you know what you want you may have to watch for a little while but that patience will save you a chunk of money.

An Avatar B410 + Ampeg PF-500 would be a killer rig for about 900.

Used GK rig even if I doubt you could get a Neo 4x10 cab for that total sum, but some kind of GK 4x10 cab for sure. I've played Acoustics (the new Chinese brand GC sells, they are not fun amps to play... But that's just my opinion, I like rock rigs to have character.)

A 4x10 mated with a 1x15 is a flawed configuration.

Just trying to be on the same page, mate.

Acoustic itself is obviously a budget brand, but my friend gigs a b200 and 410, and it works marvelously.
