I'm getting to the point where I can play Claypool/Primus, but my hand really doesn't like to on my 35" scale...especially the bar chords.
So, I'm wondering what short scale might be the best for slap and might even have a Claypoolish sound. I've read pretty much every short-scale thread on here, harmony central reviews, etc. It seems the contenders are the Ibanez Mikro, the Cort Action Junior, and the Flea bass. I'm not really considering the Flea bass due to price and quality issues. It would seem the Cort might be the ticket because of the soapbar, but I can't find any vids or soundclips of it. Anyone have any suggestions?
