Which cabinet should I buy?

Best $25 or so you will ever spend. Trust me.

Also, I don't know if either of these are local to you. Unless buying from a source I trust (someone you know or TB classified), I always like to be able to demo what I am buying.

In general, giggable bass rigs for small/medium venues (I am thinking thinking of a "bar band", but I imagine in a church, your volume needs are not going to be any louder than that, unless they have PA support) would be:

- 300-500 watts
- pair of 2x10s, 1x12s, or 1x15s, or a 4x10

It's a buyer's market out there, so don't be afraid to look through Craigslist and your local stores. Those are cheap prices, and I don't know condition on them.
