Which Cabinet To Go With A Avatar 210?"

Hey guys, I'm running a Gallien Krueger 700RBII head with a 8 ohm Avatar 210 cab right now and I'm looking to put another cabinet into the mix. I feel like I'm pushing the cabinet too much and I'm getting farting noises out of the cab. Before it's too late and I do serious damage to the cabinet(hopefully it's not too late), I want to add another cabinet. I was looking into another avatar 210, Gallien Krueger Neo 115, and a Gallien Krueger MB series 115 or 210(I'm not even sure if these mix well with heads other than the fusion series). Weight is an important factor as well, if someone can confirm the story on the MB series cabinets, if it'll mix well with the 700rb, it'll make my decision easier. Any help would be great, I'm not looking to spend more than $400 on a new cabinet right now. Thanks a lot!

I ran their SB 112 and 2x10 as a combination for a bit. That was pretty nice. It reminded me a lot of the Schroeder 21012L I had used previously. The 112 is a little thicker in the low mids and that made up for some of the scoop in the 2x10. Not sure how much volume you're after though - if it's a lot - then adding 2 more voice coils to the mix might be a better plan. Tonally I would prefer the 112 and 2x10.

I'm running a 700rbii into an Avatar 2x10 and a 1x12. Easy to move, sounds great, plenty loud at gigs.

I don't think Avatar currently makes a 115. I wanted one and ended up buying a 212 instead.

im running a 700rbii and avatar 210 with a peavey 115tvx, heavy cab but sounds awsome. 210s and 115s go great together. thnking about putting a 3015lf in the peavey to help out even more on the lows

avatar had a 215 and a 10 15 on there site for a bit idk what happened to them. Neither of those cabs were small though. I hear the avatar 2x10 is a bit weak as far as low end. Maybe the 2x12 would be a nice addition

The weight and size shouldn't be a problem for you.

I'm 16, about 5'10, and 130 lbs, and I can carry the cab up and down my stairs. I'm a small guy, but I really don't think the size should push you away from buying it.

I run my GK700 with 210 & a 212 Avatar neo's, I like the punch of the 10's and the feel of the 12's, and not heavy at all, I play a EB HH Stingray if that matters. I'm sure you'll be happy with either. Good luck.

I'm running two Avatar 210 Neo cabs stacked as a vertical 410 powered by a G.K. MB2-500 head...Love this set-up!
A single 210 cab makes for a good rehearsal/small gig cabinet, add a second 210 and it's a different story.
Stack the two 210's in the vertical makes them even better IMHO.

I'm running my two 210 Avatar's in a loud, 6 pcs., country/rock group. All I can say is, they can go much louder and "can" go much lower than I need with the G.K. MB2-500 head I'm using.
All things being equal, the 210 should be slightly louder than a 112 due to the two ten's having slightly more cone area over a single 12.
