Which cabs sound better for a Fender Precision?

Hi all,
I must to buy a cab (or cabs) for my new amp.
In your humble opinion, a Fender Precision sounds better with a cab 10" (2x10 or 2 2x10) or with a cab 12" (1x12 or 2 1x12)?

Size of the speaker has little to nothing to do with the tone. It comes down to how the cabinet was designed. Plus, your version of good tone is different than mine. Do you have a chance to try the gear out with your bass and amp head of choice?

I've played through a 4x12 bass cabinet and did not like it. However, it isn't always just the speakers themselves, it's how the cabinet is designed. That being said, I love my Ampegs (I own and use all these in various configurations): 410HE, 210PRO, 115E, 410HLF.

The v3 Fender Rumbles seem perfectly matched for a P bass...almost as if it were intentional Ive played my P bass through much more expensive gear, but a P bass into a Rumble can nail that classic "Fender" tone like nothing else.

I run a 15’ rumble v3 cab. Lightweight, cheaper and just a kickass cab. I do not like playing through 10’s or 12’s.

Never really heard a P bass sound bad through anything unless it was EQ’d terribly. With that said, my personal preference is 12s

As someone who has played this very cab in one form or another since 1992, I have yet to have a problem with low end. Sub lows? No, but it's got enough low end to have held it down for a large portion of professional touring bass players since I have been alive.

speaker diameter on its own tells you nothing about the sound or tone. not all 10 inch speakers are the same. not all12 inch speakers are the same etc.
