which capacitor for a treble bleed

Im not really good at electronics.. I been reading and in some sites they recomended a .001uf Cap... all the store that I found are selling this caps for 'tube amps'... CAN I USE THESE CAPS ANY WAY?

Other question... for this job does it matter the "quality" of the cap.. should I buy a boutique cap or a "regular" ceramic cap? :rolleyes:

Caps are cheap, try both. As well, caps may be marketed for a purpose, based on manufacturers using them in the past, but caps aren't made with a specific purpose in mind. In other words, there's no such thing as a cap that's made just for tube amps.

For a tone knob, the type of cap will make something of a difference, but which is better is up to you.
