Which goes where in a Signal Chain?

Hi bass players. I'm creating a signal chain with the following: Boss Tuner, MXR M80 Bass D.I. + (It will be used for distortion only), Dunlop BassWah, Boss OC-5, and a Boss Delay.

The MXR M80 will be used also with a wah on and I'm not running the DI, it's just used in front of my amp, like a normal stomp box. What would be the correct or ideal placement of each pedal?

Thanks for your time, and take care!

Tuner, octave, wah, distortion, delay.
There is no “correct” placement, but that order is probably a good place to start. Enjoy!
Yup, no hard laws about pedal order but that's how I'd suggest arranging it too. Only thing I'd try swapping around (if you ever decide to) is Wah and Distortion to see which you like better. If you ever decide to add a Chorus pedal, I'd personally slate it between the Wah and Distortion. Again though...no hard rules, no "right or wrong" way either

I loved wah-ing my distortions when I ran a wah on my board, was such a nasty sound.
