I just spoke with Oscar at Hipshot and he recommended the BT7 for Classic Vibe Precisions. I stumbled across this thread while searching for an answer and figured I would put some info out there.

Fender or Sire? The Fender's closest match is the HE6 you have to determine which post size is correct, you need to coordinate that with customer service. The BT1 appears to be the best match for the Sire, I believe they are different sizes though, they also have different stem lengths available so again contact with customer service is in order.
