Which Marcus Miller album would you recommend ?

I've been watching Marcus Miller on YouTube lately and I just love , love , his music. So I checked his discography and he had a ton of material from his solo stuff and various artist albums . I can't afford to go buy 30 CDs so which ones do you guys recommend starting with? I heard Tutu was a good one.

M2 or "Live and More"But the Ozell bootleg double disc is a gem. It's hard to nail my fav, but those 3 are great.

I'll check out "live and more" first since all the clips I've seen have been him playing live.

Tales was the Album that got me hooked😀

I really like Silver Rain but you cannot go wrong with Renaissance, his latest one.

Tutu is a great album, but Marcus supports Miles, it's not a lead bass album.

His best 3 albums are the sun dont lie, tales and M2. The others dont have the same level of songwriting

I bought tales, the bootleg tapes, and the new one renaissance . So far so good.

The playing is good on all of them, but to my ears, The Sun Don't Lie had the best songs. Some of the recent ones get a little boring.
