I was playing my only frankenbass (an 85' Peavey Foundation body with a '78 T-40 neck) and it never occurred to me how crisp and loud the G string is. I was hard-pressed to even find an obvious dead spot on the neck. When I compared it to my other basses, the G string was noticeably more pronounced on this one. I don't know what accounts for this but I was curious which one of your basses has the best G. Also, I hear Music Man is a little weak in that department... Is that accurate?
