Which one! Sadowsky NYC, Sadowsky Metro, Valenti, or Modulus

I have very little experience with Sadowsky, but when I spent 2 hours trying basses in the shop, I could really see, feel and hear the difference between Metro and NYC. And for me, it seems definitly worth the difference in price tag. They where better in everyway. I'm planning on getting a Sadowsky soon, and it will definitely be an NYC !

The only Sadowsky I've played was a 5 string Metro. It was nice but didn't really grab me. IMO no list of basses that do active and passive equally well is complete without an F-Bass.

+1 Especially if you're going to be in the NYC price range, a "plain" F bass would even save you a few bucks.
