Whoops! Missed that. I haven't tried the EP-2 and can't say how different it is from the EP-1. From the sound clips the tone seems very similar.

Which Phaser?

Whoops! Missed that. I haven't tried the EP-2 and can't say how different it is from the EP-1. From the sound clips the tone seems very similar.
The EP-2 has an upgraded phaser from the EP-1 in my opinion. Less of a univibe and more a thick rubbery phase, especially now that you can blend the envelope. I didn't have the Marv mod on my EP-1 so I'm not to sure how similar they are in that regard.
not a 'true' phaser? sure it is. it just does a lot more.
Phase 90 is awesome, but I'm glad to have my EP-1.
If I never had it I'd want an EP-2. the EP-2 on all accounts is much less 'subtle' than the EP-1...I look forward to having one someday but am in no rush whatspever, since my EP-1 is so great.

I think any Maestro phaser would be impossible for him to fit on his board, as he mentioned it being small. The Stage Phaser especially.
