Which pickguard with CAR P Bass?

Thanks for all of the replies. I really enjoyed getting everyone’s opinion and seeing all of the awesome CAR p-basses. Based on the votes, I went with mint/blk/mint guard. Also, my wife said she didn’t like the one that looked like pepperoni.

I’m installing everything this weekend, and I’ll post pics as soon as it’s all wired up.

Still getting the pickup height adjusted but I’m really happy with how it turned out.

Neck, body, and hardware are from a Nate Mendel p-bass. Pickup is an Aguilar 4p-60. Custom built harness with cts pots, cloth wire, and an .047 orange drop cap.

I'm curious how it sounds with that bridge. I'm thinking of another hi-mass bridge on mine, just want to have an idea of how your bass sounds. Would you have sound clips?

I’ve been using badass bridges forever, on multiple instruments. I have a 75 p bass and when I first bought it, the bridge saddles would always fall down during shows. The BA was the big name at the time, so that’s what I got. I’ve also used a babicz, but never with flats. I couldn’t tell you if there’s a difference in tone, because I don’t know what it sounds like with a standard fender bridge. IMO, it’s probably negligible, but they’re MUCH easier to intonate. If you’re really looking for an upgrade, I would replace the pickups and the wiring harness before the bridge.
