Which pickguard?

I for some reason can’t LOVE the gold anodized pickguard that came on my CS 59 relic. I have a gold anodized pickguard on my MIJ 57 sunburst P and love it. I found this used celluloid tort 10 hole guard for $70. What do you think? I think I LOVE THE TORT!

I have to agree, but sometimes the clash is what makes it cool. In any case you really can’t go wrong IMO.

Definitely tort. And not because I like tort. Just because the gold does not make that bass look like it should.

The tort makes the color pop. The gold washes out

That’s exactly how I feel! I just wanted to be sure. The gold doesn’t accent the orange like it does this my sunburst.
