Double Bass Which string will be good ?

I have to buy a set of upright Bass string for my 14 old french bass.
Which will be right choice between Corelli TX and Helico Hybride Light tention . Their tentions are all most same .

I would like to have strings that are bright tone and easy to play
on low position of A and E string with bow.

Please give me a some advice :help:
Thank You

Helicore Hybrids are an odd string. They do have their users, but I personally don't think they are great at anything. I like that Helicores come in different gauges, so you can match your instrument, but I think if you're looking at the light gauge, then Corellis are a fair comparison the people who like their strings that light seem to be happier longer with Corellis. I've toyed with them, but not spent that much time with them.

In that gauge for me, I like Spirocore Weich or Solos, but that's just me.

Given the two choices you presented, I feel pretty confident suggesting that you try the Corellis
