I wholeheartedly agree and so does Tommy Shannon.The Spitfire guy seems to be the only one capturing the variety of tones in old tort pickguards. Some tort is almost orangy-red, and way lighter than anything Fender have reissued recently. This is apparently a '62 P bass.
