White pickup covers

Does anybody know where I can get white 5 string single coil pickup covers (ie traditional Fender ones)? I know they're available in four because I fitted two to my Warmoth Jazz, but a pair of fives is proving harder to find. Anyone help out, or recommend a manufactuer of passive single coils with a white cover option? Cheers.

FWIW:

I'd contact Steve Barr at Vintage Bass Trading Company (think it's called). You're in the right place when you see the Grateful Dead Skull Logo. He's actually a TB member but you don't see him often.

Or look on ebay for pup covers in combination with a power seller/music store and contact the seller - probably carries covers in general. May not have them but may know who does.

Thanks for the reply. I've actually corresponded with Steve before, albeit via A.G.B.

A pair of 5 string single coil covers is a very hard item to find.:hmm: At this moment, I'd actually even settle for a cream or off-white set.

I looked for these a while back (within the last year) with no luck. Checked with Dimarzio, Allparts, Rio Grande pickups, Warmoth, and a few others... found a couple of 4-string covers but no 5s.

I got my white 4s from Bass Parts Resource. Still on the hunt for a set of fives, but I think at this point in time if I knew someone who could custom make covers to order I'd go for a set of birdseye maple covers.

FWIW:

there was a set of white 4 covers on ebay the other day.

Any Luthier can make you wood covers. Hambone in the Luthiers forum gave a price of $80 for a pair (which is comparatively dirt cheap) some months back. That wasn't for Birdseye though. I'm guessing you'd have to ship them the pups to get a quality fit but not my thing so don't know, Hambone will.

The maple will yellow but so will white plastic.
