Is there some carving on the lower horn? Looks like it has. Other than that anyone who can do simple customizing like adding a pickup and drilling tuner holes can make this with parts from many suppliers.

I like how they did a Stingray tuner layout on the reverse Fender headstock.

It looks to me like you could make that from a parts company (allparts, Warmoth, USACG, etc) pretty easily with a jazz bass body and neck. The only real deviations I see are the body cutaway at the lower horn, and the fact that the MM pickup route is way back by the bridge.

EDIT: At second glance, it looks like the neck might be more of a P width.

Why don't you build your own ...

Buy a bass body without pickup routes, buy a neck, buy the rest of the parts and put it together ...

Since the company that made the actual product is still in business... OP could just save up and get the instrument of his inspiration. A temp part time job could get it in months. The grail is sitting right there... just matter of what you're willing to sacrifice to get it.
