I just started playing with a blugrass band in March. Some of the players have talked about it. I believe I need to investigate...
It sounds like it could be a lot of fun… inside a hotel.. main stages on three different floors all at the same time… I’m sure there are lots of things to know about getting around ? where the stay? Parking ? et Cetera
In this brief thread, @Mandobart said he was planning to attend the 2023 edition. Maybe he can chime in with some details?
The in the hotel thing worked real well for the Joe Val Festival in February in Boston (well, Framingham actually). They took over a big ol' Sheraton for three or four days, the music pretty much never stopped.
Wintergrass is a total blast — if you can afford to stay at the Hyatt. I pretty much jam non-stop for three days and nights with friends new and old. There’s a lot of schlepping around involved, so a Bass Buggy or other wheels are essential.
