Utilitarian bass playing on a p bass. Unremarkable.

Sometimes that is the perfect thing to do.

He's doing quite a bit to outline the chords, especially on the chorus. It's tasty, not flashy.
I also have to say, any band that David Lindley is playing in the back of the stage is a hell of a band
