Another vote for the DOD 250. Inexpensive, and does the job very well. It can be used for an overdrive, or a clean volume booster. I use mine for a clean volume booster with my Nordstrand.
I use the Boss LS-2, because when you get bored clean boosting it's still useful for something else. Also, you can have up to 40 dB of clean boost. Useless ? Yeah, most likely .
I found a MXR Micro Amp Pedal on ebay. what do you guys think...looks like a simple clean boost pedal that I am looking for
the MXR will definitely impart upon your tone a bit of its own character. I'd listen to several first. MXR Micro Amp EHX LPB-1 DOD OD-250 BBE Boosta Grande Guyatone CD-3 these are just easy to find (Guitar Center) type pedals. there are tons by more high end makers.
What if the OP has been waiting for juuuust the right post before making his decision..........FOR 6 YEARS!!! On Dia de Los Muertos, people should just bump old threads.
