who makes replacement necks for headless basses?

I've been trying to find who makes a replacement neck either a brand or a luthier for a EHB1006ms for under 400 $.their is one website that sells one for a 1506 but I'm not sure it would fit as well it is out of my price range what should i do?

If I could get a new 1506 neck for $400, I'd be all over it.

If you're building a bass from scratch you can use almost any neck. As long as you can mount the string anchors in a place that allows you access to the truss rod, the rest of the headstock is excess wood and you can cut it off.

The bass he is referring to is a 6 string, fanned fret model.

The point remains, though: If there are other 6-string fanned-fret necks available, they can potentially be adapted even if they have headstocks drilled for tuners.
