I'm sitting here working and listening to Spotify and the Eddie Hazel (guitarist for P-Funk) version of I Want You (She's so Heavy) came on. It's not funky in a P-Funk kind of way, but it's killer and I'm loving the bass on it. It's a great reinterpretation of the original with some killer jamming.
So my question is, who is this?
The wikipedia entry for the album (Game, Dames and Guitar Thangs) lists three bassists, Bootsy, Billy Bass Nelson, and Cordell "Boogie" Mosson. I'm somewhat familiar with Bootsy, but don't know the others at all. I'd love to know who this was.
