Double Bass who the #%;?/() is Alex Blake

I just have been watching a YT with one of the last recordings of Stan Getz with Kenny Barron and there is an IMHO remarkable bassist on here that is never mentioned on talkbass.

(following my prejudice I skipped the takes with EB and/or synths)
Alex Blake ...

I then tried to dig in further but there is not that much to find. An appearance with Pharaoh Sanders where he shows a pretty profound sound and deep groove as well.

The person who did the editing of the video obviously had some funny ideas on how to use fx; but hey yeah ... Sun Ra ... this is revealing ...
I remember visiting a concert of his band, in a small german club, where I found the drummer sitting on the stairs of the entrance, shaking his head from left to right and back again over and over, chanting: "space men is coming, yeah man yeah man".
