Armamdo Applebaum. A local luthier from Wetumpka Alabama. Hell of a nice guy. He’s actually a podiatrist but builds basses on the side.

Attila Balogh,, google him hes the one that made them that was his logo he was a luthier from vancouver British coulumbia,ive got a six string electric from him,same logo.
don't know brand, but spacing between e and a is driving me nuts.....lol
Sad story... Attila Balogh. Worked for Odyssey guitars, till they went out of business, then went to work for a drum manufacturer where one night he was working late. Some how while on a ladder he was hit by a heavy sander and died.

Just recently found that one... translation... another reason for my wife to hate the internet.
This was an unfortunate event. I was told the same story by Paul Iverson (a luthier here in Vancouver) who used to work with Attila Balogh back in the days.
Yes, except that bass and that logo look nothing like an actual Odyssey bass. Here's what the logo on the Odyssey looks like:
