I generally don't get excited by guitar / guitarist - unless it's of the cheese grater / noise mayhem variety.

And bands that manage to pull off having two guitarists, are incredibly scarce in my books.

But I've got to give props to Rick McCollum (Afghan Whigs), and Kevin Shields (My Bloody Valentine).
