whose ready for a beer?

That's the beauty of being self employed. I can have a beer anytime I want. I might not get much accomplished after that but my attitude is adjusted :smug:

Ahhh, to be self-employed. I sort of am, but not really. I have this job where I'm not exactly sure what it is I do and I don't really have a boss. But I do visit a pub on friday lunch breaks. I have been thinking of keeping some wodka in the desk and some oj in the fridge for..."research".

Fufr.

HAHAH I actually tried typing "dude" right there! LOL

Dude. I've got our yearly block party tomorrow, and we've got 8 new songs we've been trying to learn for it, and I've had four full band practices this week. the only reason I'm not practicing tonight, is to haul all the band gear to my drummer's house, and start micing up his kit. I'll be lucky if I get home tonight with enough time to practice a few songs one last time!

As soon as we're done tomorrow night, I'm chugging a pint of the Captain, and finding a lawn chair. Screw all this work! It's a long way to the top if ya wanna rock n roll!!!

Just think about a nice and easy to drink pilsner or lager. That brisk river of hops splashing on your tongue with the malt not too far behind. The tiny ice crystals from the rim of the glass latching on to your lips. There's nothing like that first swig. The contradicting sensation of the cool liquid and the warming alcohol scaling down the throat towards the stomach. mmmm...
